"A little jealousy never killed anyone..."

Daniel Zenk is a typical college guy. Good-looking. Driven to succeed. A little too cocky. He differs from most of the other frat boy types on campus in one important way – Dan has the hots for his male English professor!

Professor Jason Montell's sexuality smolders just beneath the surface of his hipster glasses and conservative blazer. The university instructor wants to instill a love of literature in his students while finding love in his personal life. The two worlds collide at the beginning of the fall semester and set a dangerous chain of events in motion.

While implementing his plan to seduce the sexy older man, Dan crosses the line between interest and obsession. How far will the young man go to get Jason to give in to temptation?

Like the characters in Medea they are studying in class, the professor and his student are about to discover that "Stronger than lover's love is lover's hate. Incurable, in each, the wounds they make."

Wanting His Professor edition by Mark Pace Matthew W Grant Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

Good thing Jason was an English professor and not a science professor. He would have boiled the chemicals in the lab! Just look at him on the cover! That's the same way he is described in the book.

There was something to like about each of the other characters too Chris's sweetness behind his tough exterior, Hank's innocence, Ed's no-nonsense honesty, Mike's loyalty. I'll even give Dan credit for his determination although he took it too far lol.
First off, I'm a sucker for a good student-professor story on a college campus.  Jason, the professor, was totally hot.  He can teach me anytime!  At first I liked Dan too, but then when he goes into pscyho mode – look out world!  That is one college guy on a mission to get his professor into bed.
I like stories like this with a mixture of romance/sexiness and an element of danger/suspense.

Dan starts out seeming like a pretty normal college guy with a crush on his professor. Then he lets his obsession for his professor get the best of him. That's when things really take off and kick into high gear.
It's was interesting to see how the different romantic relationships evolve in the story with the backdrop of the danger.

You've got the whole lusting/stalker angle, another character with love burning beneath the surface for a friend, as well as a more straightforward relationship developing in stages.

Add that all in with one of the guys getting more and more unstable and unhinged as the story goes along and you've got a fun, explosive read.
This story was like a train pulling out of the station, building up speed. The more I got it into it, the story and characters just kept getting better and better. Finally, everything got out of control (good for the readers, but not the situation for the characters in trouble) and there was no stopping it until the train derailed at the climax!

Note I'm just using a train as a comparison...before someone tells me there are no trains in this story LOL Very good read.
The cover looks like it's going to be a sweet tale about a college guy having a happily ever after with his professor, right? Wrong. I read the other reviews posted here and have to wonder, what were they reading? It wasn't this story, that's for sure. I notice only one of them was a verified purchase, so how did they read the story?

This one went off the rails quick. It started out sweet but turned sinister real quick, with a stopover in sinister and then Lifetime movie-of-the-week territory before becoming a giant mess. It felt like the writer had an idea in mind and then went in another direction, forgetting where the story started. It happens in very long stories. This isn't one of them. I'm trying to avoid spoilers, in case anyone does want to read this garbage.

There are plenty of dangling threads here ... Whatever happened to the cat? We're supposed to accept that two characters who have spoken perhaps five lines of dialog to each other over the coarse of the story are suddenly going to fall madly in love and make out over what they believe is a dead body, and a crowd will spontaneously start cheering them on? No, just, no. I could go on, but frankly, this story doesn't deserve another word.
I was going to sleep half way...and then...WOW!!
